Design Thinking

We believe; the people who need change, know best how-to bring change. To make it happen all they need are the tools and expert advice for effectivity and efficiency. Design thinking is at the core of our projects. Our Fellowship Program is centered at open innovation through diverse cultural and social experiences.

Knowledge

We are aware of the disparity in the knowledge society; not everyone who wants education has access to it, and this needs to change. We continuously brainstorm ways to trickle knowledge and learning to learning opportunity deprives areas. Enabling inmates of Gilgit Jail gain formal education is a step in this direction.

Innovation

We all have heard, teach a person how to fish rather than find the fish. We realize to help someone learn how to catch the fish, you first need to provide them the fishing fishing. We are enabling unemployed educated youth generate income and become self-sustainable through freelancing trainings in diverse domains.

About PISE

Pakistan Innovation Summit for Education – PISE, began as scattered efforts by a group of students to bring change at grassroots through conducting career counseling session and eventually running donation drives for libraries in refugee camps. Eventually, this team of few began gathering their thought and energy at creating sustainable or long-lasting change but ideating and introducing seasonal youth camps, workshops and events on emerging domains of knowledge such as Design-Thinking and Entrepreneurship, with the core objective to empower the people to be the change-makers.

Today, PISE stands as a unified body of professionals and students, who have launched some of the most innovative social projects in Gilgit-Baltistan, all in the spirit of volunteerism.
